I’ve integrated a well-known Brazilian payment gateway with WooCommerce. They were a relatively new business at that moment but with a solid API that I was able to properly utilize.
Integrated a Brazilian SaaS accounting gateway with WooCommerce. Their API was not tested so I was involved in getting things ready for production by taking part in their testing and bug reporting workflow.
My Responsibilities: Plugin Developer, API Tester
Developed a plugin that enables plugin developers to extend WooCommerce orders with practically any custom data by writing just one line of code and use it wherever they need it.
WooCommerce uses WordPress logic and database tables to store data on store items, orders, checkouts… If you are integrating a payment gateway or any 3rd party app with your store, you sometimes need to store some extra data for specific orders. It tends to be very hard or even impossible to extend orders with custom data. This plugin solves that particular issue.
